Itachi being envy, because for all we know, even Kabuto envies him. And Sasuke has been chased (desired, not necessarily in a sexual sense) by half Konoha, half Sound, and has been remarked as desirable by most women in the series. (Start counting, starting somewhere at Sakura, moving onwards via Temari, right up to the Mizukage. And of course a hell lot of minor characters in between)

Ha, I like this train of thought you gave me... I'll go speculate some more.
